Be afraid, be very afraid because this week we are talking about the body horror cult classic Cronenberg film, The Fly.
Seth Brundle a brilliant scientist has made one of the greatest discoveries in human history, the ability to teleport objects from one place to another. There's only one little problem though, it can only teleport inanimate objects and nothing living. At least not yet. While testing the machine on himself, a housefly slips into the teleporting chamber causing the two to fuse into one. Now, Seth slowly begins to change into a part human/part fly creature while his partner Veronica can only standby and watch as he transforms into something else entirely.
